Brazil hosts one of the fastest-growing Serrada Escrima communities in South America. The first clubs opened in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in the early 2000s, and the national federation now organises an annual championship and instructor courses in cooperation with WSEF.
Rio de Janeiro welcomes the 2027 World Championship — the first world title event held in South America.
